F.T. Everard & Sons Testimonial
"For many years we have carefully examined the marketplace in search of a computerized planned maintenance system that has the flexibility of being able to be adapted to meet the needs of the customer - a product that was owner and operator focused. We have consistently been disappointed by systems that effectively required owners and seastaff to conform with the software supplier's requirements rather than the software being adapted to our existing systems. Futhermore, many systems that we examined were not particularly user friendly and were difficult to learn to use. With the Marine Software Planned Maintenance System, we have finally found the right solution to meet our operational needs.
Having initially installed the MPM system on four vessels, we are currently extending our involvement to include four newbuildings being delivered from China. The vessels are the most technologically advanced of their type in the world - and the MPM system significantly enhances our monitoring and control of their operational performance. We have also taken advantage of the training courses offered at Marine Software's premises. The tuition is excellent value for money, the subject matter being effectively delivered by an enthusiastic and highly knowledgeable presenter.
We have not yet utilised all of the modules that are available. Nevertheless, I have no hesitation recommending Marine Software Planned Maintenance to other owners and managers - this is an excellent product."
"We have installed on four coastal tankers the Marine Software Planned Maintenance system which has been running for approximately six months, this system has proved to be user friendly both for ships personnel and office staff. I would however, advise taking up the offered training courses as these have proved very beneficial in quickly bringing the users into a more familiar and comfortable position in using the system.
In any planned maintenance programme there needs to be extensive thought put into the scope and extent of the system and Marine Software are available to assist in this. We also plan to install the Marine Software Programme into four new building Tankers and to link it with a Vibration Monitoring system thereby allowing the class notations MPMS and MCM to be accredited to the vessels.
The additional modules which are available within the Planned Maintenance system, dry-dock specification and defect reports may also interest prospective customers, although, as yet, we have not made use of these sections having our own well established procedures."
